Summer Enrichment

Playground

School is out, which means summer fun is here! With over 500 camps and classes for age 2 through grade 12, there's something for every kid. Read important summer information below.

Registration Close:

Registration for all summer camps will close on Thursday at 4:00pm the week before the camp begins (Wednesday June 17th for classes beginning the week of June 22nd) and (Tuesday June 30th for classes beginning the week of July 6th). Community Ed will still be able to process cancellations after registration closes, but we will no longer process new registrations or waitlist registrations for any camps after 4:00pm on Thursday the week before camps begin.

Lunch Bunch/MS Sandwich Society Information:

Lunch bunch and MS Sandwich Society are fun ways for friends Gr. K-5 & Gr. 6-8 to bridge the gap between the morning camps and the afternoon camps. Pack an allergen free lunch and enjoy some down time with new buddies and old pals. Campers will be picked up from their morning camps and brought to their afternoon camps by Community Ed Enrichment Rec Leaders.

***Please note: Lunch Bunch and MS Sandwich Society are at the South View Campus only from 12:00-1:00pm & requires weekly registration. Participants should pack a sack lunch.
*We do not have access to fridges or coolers to store any bagged lunches.

Inclement Weather Plans:

Indoor spaces have been reserved in case of inclement weather. Please pay attention to any communications on questionable weather days (includes but not limited to: thunderstorms, lightning, air quality or excessive heat).

Community Ed follows guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health, using data from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency/AirNow, for decisions about programming related to air quality. We follow guidance from the National Weather Service for programming related to heat index.  For the safety of our participants and staff, when heat and/or air quality levels reach unhealthy levels, decisions about program modifications and/or cancellations will be communicated.

Drop Off/Pick up:

Drop off for all camps will be directly at the curb of the drop off zones. Students may be dropped off 10 minutes before their camp begins.  For the safety of our children, please drop off and pick up your children directly at the curb–do not have your children walk through drop off/pick up traffic to/from a parked car in the lot. When using the curbside option, please stay in your vehicle. Enrichment staff will be available to assist with disembarking and reloading into vehicles. Pay close attention to your Friday emails with specific drop off and pick up instructions.

Please note that if a participate is walking or biking to and from camp, a written note is required. Please contact the enrichment admin team to notify them at enrichment@edinaschools.org.
