Youth Skills Training Program
Youth Skills Training (YST) is a program that helps schools, employers, and community organizations work together to provide students with paid work experience in high-demand industries. YST programs provide students with related classroom instruction, safety training, industry-recognized credentials, and hands-on experience in fields such as advanced manufacturing, agriculture, automotive, health care and information technology.
There are many benefits to participating in a youth skills training program. These programs can help young people:
