Career Pathways
Metro South offers classes that help prepare students for the workforce. Classes are offered in a variety of in-demand career areas, like healthcare and transportation. Students work on career planning with a career counselor. Most classes lead to certifications, credentials, or school credits.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
Metro South offers ESL classes at many different levels to adult learners with classrooms in Edina, Richfield, Bloomington, and Eden Prairie. Day and evening classes available Monday - Saturday. Students take a placement test and then are placed in a class that best meets their needs. Online learning enrichment available.
Diploma Programs for Adult Learners
Metro South offers high school classes to adult students age 21 and older who wish to earn their high school diploma. Upon completing the requirements, students will receive a diploma from a Bloomington High School. Students who only need a few credits to finish, or students who have never been to high school are welcome.
General Education Development
Metro South offers preparation in all 4 areas of the General Education Development (GED) exam, science, social studies, math, and reading & writing. Students work independently at their own pace with the guidance of an instructor. When all GED tests are passed, certification can be used in place of a high school diploma for applying to jobs and colleges.
